My buddy newly found LS swap has all the motor mounts on the engine. My question is do we need the LS motor brackets....the ones that actually bolt onto the frame, or can we use the brackets of his stock engine which is a 92 DX hatchback? This is a OBD-1 swap. Thanks

 

you only need the B-series mounts (5), dont need anything else as far as mounts.

 

I understand that part. But the upper engine mounts that are attached to the engine are there on the LS motor. WHen i did my swap, they still had the mounts and the actually brackets for the upper motor mounts. I was just wondering since his swap did not come with the upper brackets..can we use the 93 civic DX brackets. Thanks
