hey matt, I was wondering about the back axles and diff placement. I have a CRX like yours, Id like to try the B series though. but the back is pretty much going to be the same setup as yours, hopefully only tweeked a bit. I was wondering how close you could get the axles to be straight before they run into that rear frame or the shocks? when you were installing it did it seem like they would go in at close to a straight line? reason why I ask is cuss Im thinkin of big power... and I think I would end up snapping a lot of axles so Im tryin to lessen the strain. Also what camber link did you use that was short enough, I have a camber kit on the back but even with my wheels tipped in I dont think it would be enough to get it back to a reasonable setting without something shorter. and prolly the last question, the LCAs you used were for a CRX? or another civic? as you know the CRXs have the bent squiggly factory LCAs, my plan was to swap em from left to right to clear the CV's but judgin by your car and the wagons rear arms they clear OK... I also have no problems cutting into that rear subframe and boxing it or what no, just kinda dead set on the axles being straight to the highest reasonable degree (2 or 5 degrees seems OK, looks like yours had a bit more, and im aiming for 500hp+). anyways, thanks for your time, and any info you can provide.

Re: Matts 4wd CRX project
ya its no more! ive got a lot of parts if anyone wants to do there own 4wd crx or hatch PM me or email me at mcengels@hotmail.com since im hardly ever on here since they changed the site it confuses the hell out of me.
heres what i have left of my 4wd CRX project. this was all in and working in my CRX but i just gave up on the project after it was completed it just wasnt what i wanted. this is all i have left the only other big parts u will need is a rt4wd tranny and the rear diff. other than that u have everything to do the swap.
-custom crx/wagon trailing arms with DA breaks and poly bushings
-shifter w/cables
-integra front breaks
-stainless break lines
-integra break preportion valve
-drilled and slotted rotors
-all 4 rt4wd wagon axles
-rt4wd wagon half shaft
-fuel cell (required since the diff gets mounted right where the tank is)
-255lph walbro inline pump w/some misc fuel lines
-fuel cell mount
-custom 1 piece dirveline that i had in my CRX
-viscouse coupler from wagon
you can either run the solide driveline or add in the viscouse coupler it depends on what u want either way depending on how u mount your rear end u may end up having to lengthen or shorten the driveline it shouoldnt be much more than $75 at a driveline shop. I can also offer the ins and outs of the whole swap theres not much to it but a few things that i ran into while doing it. heres the pix
the price is $600 for all of it and to anyone actually willing and ready to do this kinda swap this will save u a ton of money and time its worth every penny trust me. I am willing to ship all the items but its gunna be atleast a $100 and will only charge what it actually costs to ship. im paypal verified and can also meet up as far east as zillah or moses lake and as far west as tacoma everet or seattle. im located at 98926.

Damn, sad to see it getting parted out...I may need some of those parts for my build but you are on the other side of the country so shipping will be insane
The drive shaft and fuel cell and pump are tempting...

The post befor you was on Feb. 9, 2009. No need to lock the tread, but pay attention.
Yes the car has been parted out & sold. New owner rebuilt it,and also parted it out again.
There is a crx shell floating around with a awd tranny and rear diff still for sale.
