b20vtec would be fast but wouldn't last long due to thin cylinder walls.
lsvtec should be sturdy and fast if built right.

click that link and search lsvtec.

b20 can be just as reliable as a lsvtec. IF both are built properly and normal maintance they will last. Also dont smote on them 24/7.

Do you have big plans for the motor or are you just gonna bolt it together and roll with it? If you have plans for sleeving it in the near future, then I say go lsvtec. If you just want to bolt it together and have fun, then I say crvtec.

If you have a 5 or 6g civic or 94+teg, then I am with Special Ed...H22.

You do know that the cylinders in the h22 are pivoted toward the driver, where in the b-series, they point away from the driver. This causes balance issues, and makes the h22 even harder to mount. save your time and go crvtec.

b20 and ls are the same, b20 is just bored an extra .2 i'd say find the cheapest block, ls or b20 and get it sleeved to 84

no sleeve, too expensive - just get a b20 with aftermkt rods/pistons/rngs/etc and leave the head...you will be set.

If your not going to build the motor up go with the B20vtec.
