Default LS turbo, fully built ls or b16a gen 2

like the topic says. im lookin to buy one of these possibily. i need it to be reliable because its my daily driver but i also auto x and road race too. i have $2500 ish to spend. i dont know if i have enough to do an ls turbo but if anyone has a suggestion on what i should do that would be great. oh and i have a 92 vx hb

you'll need to almost triple your budget to have a fully built LS + turbo.

$2500 will just barely put a stock b16a in your hatch.

2500? dude you need to look into the prices alot more.

that will barley do an engine swap (ls or b16)

your looking at another 2000-4000$ to boost it

yeah 2500 is just barely enough for a b16A, the LS is cheaper ive seen em as cheap as like 1300 from jdmhondaparts.com i think that was the website name. now if u wanna turbo expect to add another 3-4g's for a kit and of course if u gonna turbo i advice that u get some kind of engine management also to properly tune your engine. more money...the b18b LS is ideal for turbocharging cuz it runs a lower compression piston, tranny ratios are taller enabling u to stay in gear longer so u can boost quicker. and its non vtec so u won't have to hassle with vtec issues with a turbocharger.

why dont u just do a junk yard turbo setup fpr ypur d-series? youd have money left over for other thigns too. heres a link. http://www.homemadeturbo.com
