LS distributor...
im using a obd0 ECU...and I have a obd1 dist...the question im tryin to ask is, I know the plugs on the obd0 and obd1 distributors are different, so is there any way I can wire up the obd1 distributor to the obd0 ECU? that way I wont have to buy a obd0 dist...
The internals (which is what matters here) between non-OBD and OBD-1 distributors are different. The only other distributor that is similar/same as the 90-91 LS distributor are the 89-91 JDM SiR distributors, that come on 1st gen B16 motors (they're exactly the same with the same internals, just different arms and mounting points). If you try to run an OBD-1 distributor with your non-OBD ECU, it's not going to work.
Now, when you go OBD-1 and OBD-2, the internals are the same... just plugs are different. That's why people buy either one and just repin the plugs to fit their needs.
