Knock Sensor code after GSR swap
I put a JDM B18c GSR into my 1990 STD. Runs fine if you baby it. Once you get on it the check engine light comes on. I read the code and it tells me that its the KS. When you turn the car off and back on again its gone. Could the sensor be bad or is the wiring?
I used the Boomslang OBD0 dpfi->OBD1 mpfi harness

Is it a shielded wire running to the ks? I know that if its just a regular wire, it will cause the cel to come on and go off exactly as you describe.
If I were you.. I would get a chipped ecu for 140bucks and disable that useless piece of ****.
