Default k24a2 Tsx Engine

I am looking in to buying a tsx engine. It is a automatic engine. Are the cams different on the automatics.

It is not uncommon for companies to use different cams and/or ecu programs to shift the powerband downward in automatic equiped cars.

Actually, I believe it is/was done with the slushbox-equipped NSX's.

it seems a little odd that honda moved the redline down to 7600 on the jdm auto gsr if the poiwer peak is right at 7600. I believe the b16 auto redline is lowered as well; just not an efficient use of a powerband, if they don't lower it too.
