K20Z3 into an EG Questions Concerns HELP
hi i just wanna say im new to this forum so sorry if this isnt the best place to post this but wasnt sure. Any help will be greatly appreicated.
Ok i bought a K20z3 swap yesterday out of an 08 civic si. I have the engine, the tranny that goes with it, the ecu, engine harnesss, and factory civic si shift linkage and axles. im also getting the gauge cluster and possibly the full harness out of the car (if needed).
Im looking to get this into an EG. i wanna know what else i have to buy in order for this work. im trying to save money obviously and use as much as i can from what i have.
In some research i disovered i wil need an RSX throttle body and cable because the Z3 is DBW drive by wire. Aside from the Throttle body and the mounts obviously what else will i need?? What i will i need for a harness etup and will the civic si harness be of any use to me?? know the tunnel may have to be modified for the shift linkage setup, I think its hybrid racing that makes a setup where you dont have to but can i use the factory si setup i already have and make that work??
