tryed the search, didn't come up with what I was looking for. called k&n they only have vehicle specific apps. was kinda hoping for some feed back from anyone on which one they used and how it fit.

Go to you're local parts store. And find the one that fits. I doubt they'll care if you open boxes until you find the right one.
If you have an SRI/CAI it's a 2.5" cone filter.
OEM is even easier to find.

not really sure if they will like me fitting them though. I'm using a jg throttle body on the new ls/v. I've got a aem for my old d set up know where to get adaptors?

Autozone has them.
get a 2.5" filter and you won't have an issue. I doubt you have the elusive 3" intake for the ITR.
