just finished swap, need help
k so i just finished my engine swap/conversion on my 98 dx auto. I swapped in a 97 LS engine with a GSR tranny, hardwired the obd1 plugs to the obd2a harness and im using an obd1 LS ecu. So i can start up the car no problem, it idles high and then it starts to stumble a little and will come close to dieing without giving it a little throttle. now here are a few things i should mention.
1. I converted from auto to manual
2. the axles arent installed yet i just wanted to make sure the engine would work before i put em in
3. I dont have the sensor on top of the intake manifold connected to the charcoal canister
4. the IAT i believe (black plastic thing with grey sensor on the end) isnt pressed into the short ram intake because i havent drilled a hole for it yet.
im wondering if the car idles bad because of a sensor, misfiring, wrong plugs in wrong places, wiring or what. im sure i have everything done proper and i did the IACV fix so there shouldnt be a problem.
