just built ls vtec and its leaking at oil pump help....
b18b block. p30 oil pump. i used some of that ultra grey gasket maker and its leaking. what will seal it? metal on metal?

I've always used Permatex brand gasket maker for everything and have never had a problem. Hondabond isn't anything different or special.
Make sure you clean your surfaces properly before using Hondabond or any other type of gasket maker/sealant.

how much is leaking? On my gsr I had a bad leak that I thought was coming from the oil pump and it was actually come from one of the cam seals..
But if you didnt put anything on there to seal it then its probably from the oil pump.. Use hondabond
