jdm wiring question
Okay I have been trying to understand this wiring thing for awhile now and I have NO idea what has to happen. The car; '92 si hatchback, the motor JDM b18c. Now my question is with the JDM wiring do you just use the wires and cut the plugs off, take a USDM wiring harness and re-wire those plugs into the jdm wires? Can someone try to straighten this out and make sense of it or explain what needs to be kept and what needs to be changed? Thanks to anyone who can help or is willing to help.

ack! before you go hacking up harnesses....
MOST of the wiring plugs are the same from JDM to USDM..your best bet is to use the existing harness in your car. i'm not sure of the specifics of this swap, i'm sure someone else on here can help you with it.

Re: jdm wiring question (GQ Cowboy)
take the harness off of your si motor, and transfer it to the new motor.
most of the plugs should reach, you MAY have to extend some of them.
You will have to add 1 wire for the knock sensor and a couple for
the IAB if its a GSR motor with the dual intake runners.
Otherwise it should be simple and straightforward
