JDM ITR
My roommate just got in his jdm itr swap today. How can you tell if its a real ITR block? It deff has a jdm header, itr manifold, lsd tranny, but its susposed to be a 99-00 and it doesn't have a crank angle sensor either. What can I look for to tell exactlly what we have here?
ITR block=B18C5.
GSR block=B18C1.
ITR head stamped PR3-3 for 97-98, PR3-4 for 2000-01.ITR head also has a P73 sticker. But stickers can come off.
GSR head stamped P72.

Yeah, check and see if it has the following:
B18C block
PR3 head
S80 tranny with LSD stamp - better yet look through the diff for NO pin
Red Valvecover with the "H" logo
!Short, fat runners on the single runner intake manifold - looks just like Skunk2
Throttle cable stay should have "P73" stamped on it
JDM 4-1 Honda header
NO VTEC oil pressure switch - JDM Type R didn't have one. Why? I don't know...
That's off the top of my head. Also check the year on the head by using Trey's suggestion.
