Default JDM B18C, which ecu to run??

I have a JDM B18C swap that I am putting in my 98 Civic hatch but I dont know what ecu to run. Should I sell my JDM p72 and get a USDM one? What wiring harness do I need? A OBDII to OBDI?

Get an 96-98 Civic EX wiring harness.

Run a USDM 96-98 GSR ecu...or, get a converter harness and run a chipped OBD 1 P28

You can get a converter harness from Skunk2 or JDMhondaparts.com..

The ecu, you should be able to find on thepartstrader.com. Just be wary of the person you buy it from. Local meetings are better than sending out your cash.

what about the vtec press switch not being on the jdm motor? my friend has a jdm gsr and can't get the vtec to work w/o the jdm comp, he's used the p 72 and p73, and then he bought the skunk 2 obd1 harness and used a chiped p28 and obd1 gsr no luck. the only comp that ever worked was a jdm comp which the guy that was trying to sell it to him didn't even know what it was !!! idk i'm going to swap the whole spool valve to us spec hopefully that will work
