Default ITR longblock swap into a civic...?

Just out of curiousity, as I am an amateur, would a '98 ITR longblock fit into a '93 Civic CX hatch? If it does, any opinions on the swap?

If you had a civic cx and wanted to swap in something new, what would you go for that is reasonably priced?

i'm doing just that swap right now. It will be a very fast car with that stock engine. i cant wait. oh, my type r is going into a 92 vx hatch. as said above though go for the whole set up, even though it costs more it will save you headaches in the long run.
