ITR Header on my B18C1 Swap:
I have a 1996 Civic hatchback with a B18C1 engine swap. I want this ITR header http://www.jspecautosports.com...d=104 but am wondering about fitment issues. I know that it will bolt up to the engine no prob, but how will it fit against the cat? The cat is just a standard OEM cat (gutted). How can I get it to bolt up? any kits available? adapters?

The flange is gonna be a 2.5 inch flange so you will need a jdm flange first off. Also the lengths are prob gonna be different as well. The ITR header is gonna be significantly longer and you will likely be doing some extensive exhaust modification...

I have an JDM ITR header on my 4 door GS-R.
My exhaust is a Mugen twin loop.
I have a carsound cat that I welded new flanges to. A lot of the retailers that sell the ITR headers also sell the donut gasket and the flange for the bigger pipe: http://www.inlinefour.com/25incolflan.html
The above link isn't an advertisement. I actually bought my header from inlinefour and it came with a large dent in the collector end that I had to hammer out. They never responded to any of my emails or phone calls about the damage... it was just the first link that I could find showing the necessary flange.
I didn't have to modify my exhaust at all.

I am running a USDM ITR header (which is longer than an older header I had) with a stock GSR cat, and simply had the exhaust shop modify the length of the midpipe to compensate for the longer header. Not a huge deal unless you have a custom exhaust that you don't want cut/welded.
