Default Integra DC - possible to keep air conditioning w/h2b swap?

I have searched and searched and searched.
All i can find is some crap about civics being able to keep A/C with a HCP bracket, using the d series A/C Compressor. But that's not gonna work..

Is there some way to do a h2b and keep the a/c?
I can go without powersteering but not that..

In a nutshell anything is possible. You'd have to run some syrpentine belt setup to drive both the altenator and AC off the same channel. Do you wanna tackle something like that? Probably not.

It's the main reason i won't do a h/f2b in my car, so.. kinda important to me.
all i know is that you can indeed flex the A/C lines a bit.
I wonder if it would require an idler pulley.. but my main q is, has it even been done in the first place. Because i'm in no position to fabricate my own metal brackets and such

Yeah sounds about right.
I know someone makes a bracket for the D series. I don't see why us 'tegras don't get one!
Then again the civic is lighter and that's why people like to put the h22 in there..

No, but if you are debating between a H22A and B18C you will be horribly disappointed with the B18C...

yeah i have a feeling that a B18C would be a half *** upgrade.
I would rather actually have a vtec F22 over that, but i asked the question regarding an F22 because noone does F22 swaps 'round chere.

I know with my swap and the lower d series alternator kit you could probably mount the compressor above where the alternator was

Well, given that integra and EG engine bays are pretty much the same size.. and hood clearance is the same issue.. think there'd be any room between the hood and the motor ?!

also do you happen to have some pictures of your setup? ( you have an eg, right? )

oh yeah.. you were the guy with the F20B.. a motor i'd love to put in if it wasn't for california -_-..

Even with the F20B, that looks pretty friggin' cramped.
I'm starting to think i should be droppin' this motor into the del sol instead and just take the top off if it gets hot..

You deleted your balance shafts.. how was that? did it make the motor vibrate like crazy?
