Default intake sensor?

I have a 92 cx with a 94 b18c1 swap and I noticed that there is a plug (seems like it'd be a sensor) that I believe would have plugged into the factory airbox in the general area of the air intake under the hood. I purchased a cheapo "ractive" intake and am wondering if there is a way to use hook the sensor up. I assume that it reads the air temp or something for the o2 mix. What do I do with this sensor, can I hook it up using the ractive intake (no opening for the sensor), if I can't use it should I invest in a different air intake/filter system that I can plug the sensor into, or is it fine to by pass this?

Thanks for any info.

what does it look like? do you have a pic? not very much info to go on.
the intake air temp sensor is ontop of the intake manifold on GSRs and the MAP should be on the throtle body.

Sorry for being vague I'm not sure what it is. Someone suggested that it might have clipped into the air box. And, no its not the breather hole; what i'm talking about is a plug... I'll take pic when i get a chance. The plug is located near where the airbox would be on a 92cx. Its right around the hole that many people drop the cold air intake's into...

Hope this helps..if not i'll post a pic soon..

Thanks

There is no sensor plug in the airbox for any 92-95 Civic. I can't think of any plug in that area unless it would be for the cooling fan, possibly A/C or something. If you can get a pic up then it will help us help you.

I am thinking of the plug for the sub-harness for the a/c. does the car have a/c? how many wires is it?

my Ex has quite a few plugs in the area , ie. horn, radiator fan headlight and several i'm not sure about, there is also a bunch of wires that go into a small box and are grounded on the body by a 10mm bolt.
hope this helps a little
