imagine engineering in an h22 eg pics
Does anyone have pics of the imagine engineering header installed into a civic eg with traction bars, or do they just have detailed pics of the engine bay with it installed? maybe even a hotshot header, does Newman still have those pics floating around when he had the hotshot in there?
thanks

Be aware. Fastwannabe had this header but said it started cracking welds
and stuff. I would wait till he responds with pics before you go further..

Nice. How much did you buy it for? Let us know how it turns out when you get it installed

I'll post pics after I install it, but that won't be for a while because its supposed to take 3-4 weeks to make the header.... but theres snow outside anyways.
comparison in quality in the 2 headers

http://www.hotshot.com
I just felt with the hotshot it was a better bang for the buck, and looks of better quality but both headers make good claims in power

That's Hotshot for you. They only make a certain amount of headers and when they sell out, they sit around and wait until more people request for that same header. When I bought mine, I lucked out and and took their last one in stock, for that current batch.

Don't know how much the Imagine Engineering header is selling for, nor have I seen it on a car so I can't say anything 1st hand about it, but the Hotshot header is a good bang-for-the-buck header but isn't the easiest thing to install, from the 2 pieces where they meet (can get some exhaust leaks there, which is why I welded mine up) and the collector is so big that you need to position the downpipe in a certain way or dent the oil pan slightly to make it work. They may have changed their design up from the header I got from them 2 years ago, but that's something to consider. But when on the car, the difference was very noticable .

Re: imagine engineering in an h22 eg pics (jdmcivicferio)
I have an Imagine Engineering header. Not installed yet, but the welds look strong so I dunno why the other guy's would crack. I mean, it hangs low, but if you dont slam your car, it's not bad. Im trying to develope a skid plate or something actually

Re: imagine engineering in an h22 eg pics (Jason kiDD)
In his last post here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=741935
He says "it been scraped to **** and I cant afford to be replacing $500 header every 4 months. Its so scrapped up that the weld are worn away. Its really my fault for trying to dump the car."
The welds didn't crack, they were worn away from him slamming the car and then scraping it on stuff. Trust me, the welds won't crack.
I just wanted to clarify this for other interested customers.
