I finally got some pictures of my car and the swap.
Car:
Engine:
Header clearances:
I love how it feels! I haven't had any problems with the header scraping.

Just watch those speed bumps, roadkill and other debris.

Yeah, looks like the oil pan's been dinged a few times . . . . and your header is lower & farther forward . . . Anyway, good looking car. What've you got for a suspension?

Header looks good but is that rust & oxidation that I already see on it? Was it originally "ceramic" coated or did you spray the grey high-temp enamel onto the header?

The oil pan came a little dinged from the place I got the motor.
Imagine Engineering header. I have another post about the dyno results in this forum.
The header was powder coated silver, but it was the first one that they did and has been on and off some engines and laying around a couple times. Mike said he would re-coat it for me for free. He said its the new high temp silver that Dupont makes and they're working on making it better.
The front brakes are the Willwood system.

Yeah I agree, that is the only complaint I have with my h22 setup, is the header hanging so low. You just have to drive extremely careful thats all.

Boy that is extremely f_ing low. Is there a production header made that sits higher than the oil pan, or a shallow oil pan, if it will fit, that anyone knows of? If there was, that seems like the perfect swap imo.

What year Prelude CAI? I've heard a ITR Typr R CAI will fit . I am beginning the same project and want to know what CAI to use. That one looks like it fits well. Bad *** ride man. Let us know how the handling is.

Its an ODB I prelude CAI which comes in I believe 2.75 diameter.
The ITR comes with a 3" diameter and fits just as nice however it does not go through the stock hole..
Pic oh my car with ITR CAI

jason. do you think the difference in the piping diameter is that big of a deal? i like the routing of the obd1 lude, but i also like the diameter of the itr? which is the better choice you think?

Yeah I had liked the way the prelude piping was as well, but when it comes to air
the more you can stuff in the better so I opted for the ITR one, especially if you plan on getting a different intake manifold and throttle body in the future..
