You say your going NOS, so I'd say to do an ignition. If you were NA I'd tell you not to, but not in this case. I'd say the MSD as more people know how to work with those if you have problems in the future. Nothing wrong with Crane ignitions, but less people know how to work with them and troubleshoot their problems aside from Crane themselves.

 

Crane makes an excellent product. However, like mentioned above, you will find more people familiar witht he MSD.

I have had both in my car. The Crane lasted a day or two beofre it quit. No one knows why, it just quit. Now I have a MSD. Still have a Crane Coil though.
