Default Idle Problem... Please Help Me!!!

I did a search and found a few things, but no straight answer. When I start my car after it's completely cold, like after it's been sitting overnight, it will idle really low, about 300 rpm. Once it's warm, it runs fine. I have a 98 JDM B16 w/ a 98 JDM ITR ecu all in a 98 EK. I've changed the IAC and rewired it several times. I've also cleaned the itake manifold and throttle body. Ben & Alan (A&J) have both been trying to help me solve my problem... One more thing, my ecu isn't throwing any codes! The only thing that we think it can be is valve adjustment. Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks

could be possible that the ITR ECU is throwing too much fuel for the B16.

Yeah it could be, but why does the engine light not come on when I unplug the IAC... The car also drives fine once it's warmed up

I am having the same problem after putting a vafc in and a chipped mugen ecu. When the car is bone cold it starts and sputers and idles at 200-300 rpm. I also have tried to lean it out and it still does the same thing. And this is on my 01 gsr with mods below. It never did this when i just had my stock gsr ecu in. Im tring to find an answer.

Did you guys try adjusting the screw below the throttle butterfly...i just finally solved issues with that on my 1stgen b16 that were all directly related to the position of the throttle at idle (it was too low when cold)

it's called the throttle stop screw and is set a t factory for a stock setup.

if you have mods you may need to adjust this idle control feature...

or try adjusting the idle control screw (but if it idles fine after warmup this is OK)
