Default identifying a gsr

I have a b18c1 motor but i'm not sure what year it is, any idea on what the best way to determine the year of the motor is, or where the serial number is located if thats what I need to determine it. Depending on the year GSRs can be obd1 or obd2, right?

Look on the head between the exhaust ports. There will be a circle saying 9 5 pr 9 7 or something like that in a circle. That is the year it was MADE.
