I have a manual 96 ek hatch.

I just purchased a d16y8 to swap in.

Problem: The y8 I got is a automatic. The IACV on the auto is a three wire and is on the throttle body. The maual y8s have the IACV on the intake manifold and is a two wire.

I did purchas a manual p2p for the y8.

So can I perform the IACV Fix in this case or do I have to purchase the manual intake manifold and throttle body.

i forgot to add that I will be using the harness that came with the y8 not my original y7 harness
