Default IAB Question

I've searched this...

Im putting a B18C in a 97 Honda Civic, and using the D16Y8 wiring harness (OBD2). There is no plug on the wiring harness for the IAB that is on the motor. What can I do...what should I do??

Thanks!

Default Re: IAB Question (B18CFyghterCivic)

The OBD2 ECU gives a connection to ground signal to activate the IAB solenoid

Assuming you are using the OBD 2 ECU just run a wire from the appropriate pin on the ECU to the solenoid and connect the other solenoid wire to +12v. (the wires that feed the injectors are a good place to do this)
