Default I need help to pass smog test!

OK I have a 1991 acura Integra with a first gen B16 motor swap in it . The engine has 2 o2 sensors on it and I've replaced them both as far a I know their wired right I looked at a wiring diagram and traced the wires back and they seem to be hooked up right. I have replaced the cat with a new one and my Hydro carbons are still high at idle and at 2500 rpm. Is it because I'm running a jspec ecu ? I dont know what it is and the guy at the smog shop wont help me at all this is my daily drive and I need to get this thing bar by the ref so can somebody please help me with this problem because if I cant fix it soon I'll be forced to sell this little jewel and I'd hate to do that because I love Acuras and Hondas thats all I've ever owned.

The ECU is a good place to start. Chipped ECU's run rich for the most part.

Get a stock one for that motor and you should be passing no problem.

I assumed that "Jspec" mean't chipped or modified. You can pop the cover and look at the bigger chips and if one has a base and looks like it is removable then that would be "chipped" As in the original chip has been removed and a holder for replacable chip's can be installed in.

You might be able to contact Jspec with the numbers off of it and they can search for it. Maybe????

Bump for more info...

No when I said J spec I ment an ecu from japan that came with the motor I have from japan, and when I open the cover on the ecu I really cant tell if anything has been added or changed. What if I find another ecu thats not chipped and I'm still having the same problem?
