Default I need a harness for an EG to an OBDII ECU

Why do they have a harness adapter for an OBDI ECU into a 96-UP Civic?

I need to have it the other way. The guy that sold me the swap lied to me and I don't have the money to buy a new ECU.

Is there any alternatives?

Yep there are alternatives, you can run a p28 (92-95 ex ecu, don't know what civic u drive), and chip that. You can also chip dx ecu's to run dohc vtec programs.

I believe the reason they don't make an adapter for obd2 ecu's is that they cannot be chipped.

Also, if you're looking to buy the adapter ($200), you'd be better off selling ur ecu + buy a chipped p28, pr p72 (depending on the motor you're running). Just a quick thought
