how should i "break in" my b16a?
i just got a jdm b16a in my car with a light stage 1 clutchmaster clutch...i was wondering how i should break this motor in since it prolly hasn't been running for about 5 or so years?

Well it depends. If you got it running then good. If not then I suggest you pour some oil down the plug holes and let it soak for a good hour to give you a nice lubed startup.
On the clutch - you want to engage and disengage it often - that is what makes for a good breakin!
After you get a few miles on the motor do a compression check and see how she's purrin' - that'll give you an idea of what's to come in terms of performance or rebuild etc.

I assume you've already done a full tuneup. I wouldn't adjust the valves just yet until you're sure the engine runs fine... THEN adjust them. It'll be one less variable for you to think about if there's any problems.
I just drove it really slowly and calmly for about 1000 miles, then did an oilchange, then did another 1000 miles or so (never took it above 3000, except once). Then I switched to synthetic and beat the hell out of it.
