How to do ls/vtec with 1st gen b16 head
I have a 1st gen b16 head that i bought from a buddy of mines. How would i go about hooking up the wiring harness to the head. Like the tps sensor, map sensor, and what is the thing that is attached to the throttle rotor. Please Help, i'm confused. I've done an ls/vtec before but not with this head. It looks different from the rest of them. Thanks

its not that different, what did you use before a gsr head? only a couple differences would be comp ratio, and maybe if the head is jdm, anybody know any others.. do a search, that way you won't get flamed

the head is obd 0 My guess is the car / block is odb one or two. You will have to re wire to obd 1 or 2. This will include changing out stuff like the dist. ect...

yeh, it's jdm gen 1 b16 head. Like the map sensor, the evap purge valve, stuff like that, it doesn't have it. And there's like extra vaccum on the intake manifold and throttle body dat i don't know where it goes too. any help would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

You don't need the evap purge setup. Just put a checkvalve on the line from the gas tank. You'll have to use a usdm throttle piece for the throttle cable. The jdm one is set up to accept the cable from the right hand side.
