How hard is it to install new pistons
and head gasket ? Easy with right instructions
or better off getting a professional to do it?

not that hard, but if you have no idea what you're doing, then you should probably get a pro to do it. Just scratching the cylinder wall with a connecting rod will ruin your day.

or a rod journal

its not hard to do at all.....you can install everything and it would look cool.
IMO you should really take it to someone highly expierenced

 

If you are asking this, you should probably take it to a pro. Better off spending the money on a pro to do it right than spending the money on someone to fix mistakes from inexperience
