How to acheive the max MPG out of b18 swap?
As of right now im not to sure what my mpg is but i want to acheive the max mpg. When im on the freeway doing about 80mph my rpms are about 3700 thats kinda high i think. and at idle im about 1000 with is high also. Anyway to lower that down? my goal is about 32+mpg. I know driving habbit have a lot to do with mpg. if your on it hard all the time you will get poor mileage.

If you are not already doing so, convert to OBDI. OBDI does quite a bit better on gas than OBD0.

Low shifts...slower aceleration...straight to nuteral rather then down shifting...and if you wanna get crazy 3rd to 5th shifts....drove my car to north carolina from nyc and back at the time it was a 12.1 b16 with a j1 tranny drove max of 65mph cause of the gearing but managed to maintain 32mpg

Damn it. The motor was setup for obd1 and i switched to obd0 since i didnt want to do any wiring conversions. Well it looks like it may be junkyard time again. To convert its just dizzy, injectors, ecu right plus the wiring harness needed right?
