Hi. I have a newbie question. If I swap an ITR motor inside an EG, what....
Hi, I'm new here, but I'll be getting an EG in 1 week. Anyways, I have a question. I plan to get an ITR motor through a hookup I have in S.cali. I'm not sure if I want to run open header or not, but if I do plan to get exhaust, which one do I need? A teggy one or a civic?? I don't know if this has been asked before, but a friend of mine told me that this board has some knowledgeable users. Thanks in advance. Hopefully I can post some pix up after I do some mods. I plan to go all motor.

you'll need an integra test pipe/cat, and you can use integra piping as well for your b-pipe but it will require minor modifications. axle back exhaust can be a universal or a civic hatch bolt-on.

if you can get the full integra exhaust piping, it will fit onto your civic - EXCEPT the integra muffler, it's too big for the civic, you'll need to use a civic muffler.
or you can just run a cat & the b-pipe & no muffler, it might be a littler loud, but not as loud as an open header!

Thanks for the replies. Exhausts are way too much money. I'd rather spend it on something else.

That's what I'm sayin hehe. Most people get it for looks and the sound. I think I might have to run open or just keep it stock.

I better start saving up. I'm going to dump alot of money into this project. Probably start out with a clutch, flywheel, ignition, headers, cams, and suspension. I'll do headwork when I have more $$$. I found a black 94 Si hatch. I can't wait to start building this puppy up!
