i have an h22 in my civic and the problem is when i'm doing 80 mph sometime my rpm is at 4000 and sometime it's at 3500 rpm in 5th gear... wtf what can cause this????

You never know. It sounds like an electrical problem more than anything. I don't actually think the car is revving at different RPM's at the same speed, do you?

not unless your clutch is seriously f*****. check the wiring to the tach.
