Default Head bolt q's

how many of you are runnin stock headbolts on hi compression motors? i'm curious on reliability and so on. My motor is a 12:1 b18c5(low budget built-) and i plan on using the stock headbolts. A couple friens tell me that I should use ARPs, but I have faith in the stock pieces. motor builders in Japan always use the stock or nes OEM bolts. why would one need to use the ARPs??? i figured they were mainly for forced induction application with lots of cylinder pressure.
TIA
