Default H2B help needed!!!!

okay. well i've got a GSR ek hatch right now. And I just picked up an H22A4. I'm planning on doing an H2b build with the QSD kit.

1. My question is does it matter if the motor came from and automatic prelude or 5-speed prelude?
2. Do I need to change anything from the automatic longblock to 5-speed? Also, what would I have to do to the wire harness that I already have, other than extending the alternator bracket?
3. What actually needs to be done to the crank pulley for this particular kit?
4. What fuel rail do I need and do I need an aftermarket fpr?
5. Could I use the stock intake manifold?

I've been searching here on h-t but I haven't quite found the answer I've been looking for. Sorry if this thread is just redone dent.

Also, any other help/advise would help! Thanks ahead of time!

Open up wide here comes the spoon feeding train . . .

1. No it does not matter. It has been debated if the auto/ manual h22 are the same. Some have said that cams are different but there has been NO proof to justify this. My motor was an auto and it was a pretty strong motor.

2. The only thing you would need is manual pressure plate bolts ( auto is shorter) but since you are going with QSD kit then that is already covered.

3. The power steering part of the pulley needs to be shaved off. or get an f20 crank pulley.

4. I would just get an aftermarket fuel rail so you can move the fuel inlet to either side. But you could also go with a 90-93 accord fuel rail and that will work. You dont NEED an aftermarket FPR , but isnt a bad thing to buy if you plan on future modifications

well yesterday i put the motor on an engine stand and come to find out its got a little crack in the block.

here's some picture:

I was just wondering if any of you would think that this crack would effect the motor at all?

also what am i suppose to take off in the picture below, i know the balance shaft but which one is that, and how do i take it off? or could i just leave the balance shafts on and take the belt off. remember i'm using the QSD kit!
