Default H2B?

im in the process of taking on this project but have some questions. i know i have to use all the b-series tranny complete, mount, axles, shiftlinkage, quarter sport plate. now the H2b that im doing is going in a 98 civic coupe maybe turbo. still undecided. i would like to keep it obd2. for the motor. i know i could get the h22 type s but i found a long block for sale of the H23 dohc vtec motor. which one would you guys use if you had the choice. for my own information i do not know much about the h23 vtec. can anyone chime in

H series motors have FRM sleeves, so u cant just drop in forged pistons, etc...Thats another thing u might wanna conisder, Right now i have a turbo h22, Going to do an h2b over the winter but if i had to start over I would have started with an f series motor.

Forgot to add, if u are going to turbo also then Id suggest just getting a regular Jdm h22, the type s has a higher compression, Lastly your gunna have to go obd1 to get your car tuned..
