you'll have to port match for sure... yours is like 58mm and the h23 will be 60mm? something like that... i was looking at a ITR for my d. i think all h/b/d fit on to each other... the only problem with mine would be converting a 2 wire sensor on the TB to a 3 wire...

so does anyone think it would be worth the money to buy a skunk2 intake mani and have it port matched to the H23 tb and throw it on?

Port match fo sho.
I have done a b series tb on a d engine for a friend. It had to be matched to the intake manifold or there would have been a step down that will hurt whatever gains you are hopeing for.
I recently put a 70mm bbk on my aebs power plus intake manifold. My manifolds throttlebody port was 5mm smaller so I took away enough material to make the transition from t.b. to i.m. smooth=port matched.
My crvtec likes the 70mm tb.
A larger throttle body will always help you breath more on top end. And improves throttle response. But you need a vtec/fuel computer if applicable. and a fuel pressure regulator.

i dont think a skunk 2 IM is worth it... unless you are going turbo or need a lot more air for some other reason i wouldnt spend my money on that... the bigger tb is cool but a nice Y8 IM is good enough... it is all dependent on what plans you have for the future i guess.

Re: H23 Throttle body on a D-series?? will it work??? (civic_bam)
well i am in the process of putting together a turbo kit but i wasnt sure how much of a gain i would get with the skunk2 intake mani compared to the stock Y8 intake mani if they are both port matched to the h23 tb? any other suggestions? should i just stick with the stock intake and port match it or would i notice a decent gain going with the skunk2?
As far as fuel goes i am just going to get an afpr and up the fuel psi just a little bit.
Also does anyone know the exact sizes of the Y8 tb compred to the h23 tb???
