I was woundering if anyone knows if you could put a h23 into a 97 civic coupe? I have the motor I just got a good deal on a 97 shell. I was woundering if it can be done what things would I need for the swap. Sorry I am new 2 this type of swap, I had other type of swaps before if that helps. Thanks

 

if youre talking about the h23a1 (160hp non vtec) then it is the same as putting an h22 in minus the vtec wiring. for the basics you need a mount kit and i believe shift linkage... dont hold me to it though (on the shift linkage...i know you need a mount kit)

 

you will need all the same parts as an h22 swap, search is your friend!!
