Default H22a into a '97 Accord? or maybe a B16a?

Hey everyone.

In July of 2001, I got my first car finally. It's a 1997 Honda Accord DX, with an auto tranny for 6 grand. The bad thing? She had about 117k miles when we got her (she's currently got 120k).
But I do have an idea...
Provided I get the money, i was thinking I could drop in a new motor, adding performance and getting rid of all those nasty miles.
Now I have several questions

1) Should I go for an H22a engine, or a B16a?
2) I know the H22a would fit, but would the B16a?
3) Estimated, how much would it cost to get the whole set up for each? (engine, tranny, ECU, axles, and harnesses?)
4) How much would installation run? (I doubt my dad will let me do it by myself and w/ some friends. hell, he didn't even trust them to help install the CD player i got in there now)
5) Is it worth it all, or should I just see if I could get a new car?

I appreciate all the help, thanks guys!

B16? No. The B16 barely makes enough TQ to push a Civic, it ain't gonna do squat in an Accord. Not too mention trying to mount it. In fact, any B Series motor is out of the question. The choices that you would have are the H22, H23, and F20B. The H22 would be your best bet. It has the highest power output, plus the most aftermarket support.

Installation is rather straight forward. Look to spend around $2500 for the motor, and anywhere from $750 to $1250 for installation. It all depends on what part of the country you are in.
