To drop and H22A into a DA Integra is similar to putting it into an EF Civic/CRX. It's not a very common swap and the price for labor and mounts (do they even make a kit?) will be a lot more than the normal EG/EK/DC H22A swap.

I thought the swap would be around 4-5k, but my friend said it would be cheaper to just swap a b18c5 and turbocharge it. I wanted a project no other person would do.. oh well, maybe it's time to say goodbye to the ls.

"it would be cheaper to just swap a b18c5 and turbocharge it"
i am so sick of hearing that saying.....
yes, you will spend more money on mounts, becuase with most b-series swaps, you don't even need aftermarket mounts....
the axels can be tricky, but many people just buy oem axels for different cars, and everything works out fine...i.e. 90-93 integra alexs for eg or dc2 swap, but you have to have axels in the b-series cars to make them move also, so that is not any more money than you would spend on a b-series swap...
you will spend the same amount of $ on misc. stuff on each swap, you will just have to look a little harder, or find out certain info about the h22 swap...
other than that....uhhh there is not any more money in a h22/eg or dc2 swap, than a b-series one...lets compare:
$450 for a mount kit, +/- $150 on misc. stuff (hoses, brackets, clamps...), $115 on axels, $75 on shift linkage, as low as $1850 for the swap...thats $2640
now before i type out any kinda prices for a gsr or even a type r cost list, can you even get a gsr or type r swap for $2640?
now granted that somewhere, someone has a gsr swap for 2640, and by swap, it is a FULL SWAP (engine, trans, ecu), the (jdm)gsr is 178 hp 129 lbs tqu, the (jdm)h22 is 200 hp 161 lbs tqu.
that is 22 more hp, and 32 more lbs of torque...for a swap that only costs more time and knowledege

You can do it, but you have to realize how much room you have to play with in the EF/DA engine bay. For starters, the engine bay is not as "long" from firewall to radiator support as an EG/DC engine bay (EK is even longer), and the length from shock tower to shock tower is about an inch or so narrower than and EG/DC chassis. Furthermore, you run into the bigger problem of the framerail.... on the EG/DC/EK engine bays, the framerail does not hang low where as on a EF/DA engine bay it hangs really low and connects to a front crossmember, thus you need to trim quite a bit away from the lower part of the framerail to make clearance for the transmission and possibly for the crank pulley (depending on how you mount it in there). Then there are other "tricks" and things that you'll run into such as radius arms and such, but there are ways around that with other stock Honda parts out there.
Bottom line, it's possible and can/has been done but is not recommended in the DA Integra. If a shop even gives you a quote for doing is, you'd better do some homework on that particular shop to see what other swaps to that similar extremity and how well it was performed and how long it took. If they just threw you a quote just to get your business and then plan on tackling your car as their first, then you're in for a long waiting period. Just a few things to also consider.
