Default H22A ????

Is the H22A a good choice for my 1998 Hatchback it has around 200 hp and the are sort of cheap i mean u are looking at $2199 around there would it b good for it

yes or no?????? And would it fit in my ride???

in a hatch, you're looking at sloppy 14.7's all day...learn how to drive and you can get it down to 13.5 or so with some drag radials and bolt ons. The powerband is totally different than your SOHC. Many people spin through 1st and 2nd and most of 3rd because the H22 makes a ton of torque low in the RPM range. Be careful having an H22 in CA though.

H22's are pretty good. they have 200 hp and a good amount of torque, just people find them hard to install, so thesupply and demand isnt high, thats why theyre so much cheaper than b18cs and such... but overall I think its a pretty good of a choice

put one in my 97.runs 14.2 spinning. this was my first h22 swap ,did it by myself with help from h-t in two days . love it , wish i had done it sooner
