Hi, I have a 93' Del Sol and I'm planning on doing an engine swap. My question is if the h22 is really worth it and does it really have any advantages over the b18c. You do get more hp but the engine does weigh a lot more doesnt it?Also It cost more and I heard since the engine is so heavy it would effect the handling. So I'm wondering why everyone is doing it. Sorry but I'm new to the whole hybrid world. So if someone could answer this question for me that would be great. Thanks in advance

search bro. and yes it's worth it. not that much of a harder swap over b18c
H22 is well worth it... More torque, more horsepower. I do know that because of the engine weight the car will actually have less handling performance! As far as the labor goes, im not sure...The price of the H22 shoud actually be less expensive than a B18c1...

H22's are the way to go. It is no doubt more work. But I feel it was well worth it after smoking all my frineds modded cars with a stock one.
And as far as I can tell there is almost no difference in the handling, and I have drop springs w/Stock Shocks.
H22's

handling wise is just SLIGHTLY less than a GS-R swap. My car still handles very well with h22 up front. After i get integra skunk2's we'll see what happens at the auto-x H22 is well worth it... YES and NO - Full H22 swaps are cheaper than GSR's but you need a mount kit and a few other things with an H22 so it almost balances out. Also It cost more

YES - It can be corrected with proper suspension though.I heard since the engine is so heavy it would effect the handling.
