Default H22 Oil

What is the best weight oil, or what are the best results that people have had for an H22? I am running 10W-40 non-syn right now. Should I be using synthetic? I have heard some conflicting stories.

If they are new I would use 5w30 petroleum oil for the break in process if that is needed.

Edited because my last responce was fucked up.

i think the oil pump and age are the most important factors in decing what oil to use, then the intended use of the engine. the oil pump and oil galleries were designed around 5w30 or 10w30 so it stands to reason with a stock oiling system and stock oil pump you will overall see your best results with th stock weight oil.
