Default check engine light question

hey guys,

i have a 97 civic ex coupe w/ a b20b in it. It's throwing 2 codes at me which happen to be the following:

0171 - Fuel System Too Lean
0170 - Fuel trim malfuction

What could possibly be the problem(s), and how might I solve this?

Thanks
