h22 ek motor mount help
yeah i know that there is already is a h22 into ek sticky but no one has commented there in a week so i made a thread. my question is that if i use innovative mounts do i need to use differnet axels. i am not sure what kind of axels i have on there now but i have yonaka mounts. so u can see why i want to upgrade. i know this may sound fckin dumb i just dont wanna rip on my car and the ****in motor fall out. ive heard that the mounts i currently have are quite shitty. i know that if i uses the hasports i need to use there axle set up at least thats what i read. any help will be appriciated

Re: h22 ek motor mount help
It all depends to be 100% honest. I had Innovative mounts (steel) and they were crap for fitment and every axle I put on was binding.
I bought Hasports with Hasport axles... binding.
I currently run Hasport mounts, accord half shaft, DA axles with no problems.

different mount kits place the engine in different locations hence the reason axles need to be changed and are different. every car is different as well. just because the accord shaft and integra axles work on your car doesnt mean they will on someone elses

Re: h22 ek motor mount help
Yea, I called and received a quote of $300 for another replacement set. Not upset with you guys, so do not get defensive.
Never said it was your fault, right??? Also, a car could have been hit on a side, affecting fitment, too. I am not retarded. I seriously doubt me posting my completely neutral experiences with your company has any affect on your axle sales. Hell, the only thing I really did was state that Innovatives sucked. That should be good news to you. And if you were on the boards enough, I have mentioned that I should have gone with your mount kit in the first place to avoid hassle since you guys know your stuff. Maybe not on this forum, but on HCF.com, where I am a moderator with a 110+ page project thread, I know I have said it over there.
Oh, and remember this is a public forum. People ask for opinions and experiences, and I post mine. Put me in your ignore list if you don't want to see my posts. If people continued to post up and ask the SAME questions, I will reply with the SAME answer. Maybe your issue is with the OPs who are not searching first?
EDIT - How are you on this forum, but not labeled as a vendor? How are you getting around the IB rules like that when say a company like Mishimoto has to pay and become a vendor in order to provide tech help? My apologies if I am missing something there.

Nah, it is there. I never look at the sponsor pics. My apologies about that Hasport. I was expecting a Vendor/Manufacturer user title, that's all.
