I'm pretty sure you've read this but here it is just in case you haven't. Alot of H22 stuff.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=650329

The most common OBD1 ECU's used for H22: P13,P72,P28

NOTES:

P13: Must connect all EGR related wires to eliminate any common EGR CEL

P72: Recommended to reprogram(chip) it to H22 standards. Reason for this is because VTEC opens waaaay to early and there is noticable lag in mid-range power, but makes it up in the top-end side. Another thing you need to do is the CKF (code 54) CEL disappears by tapping C1 and C11 to C2 and C12. You don't have to wire up for EGR stuff because it doesn't look for it.

P28: Not to sure with this one. I don't think it has IAB's but know it is very to good to play with .

IMO I'd stick with a Spoon P13 if you can gettem.

I would stay away from these Spoon,JUN, Skunk2 chipped p13's. The only chipped ECU I would recommend is the H22a JDMshit P28 ECU.

My friend ditched the JDMshit for Uberdata, and I ditched my stock p13 for Uberdata. It's basically a standalone for free. The top end is just beautiful, the car never stops pulling.

I forgot to mention, my friend and I are both running p28's. It doesn't search for EGR, only downside is no knock sensor but I would only care if I were running boost.

Here's a link to teach you more.

P73 is always OBD2.

No reason to put a OBD2 ECU in a OBD1 car, besides for emissions (if the motor is OBD2).

Spoon and JDMshit are both great programs. Go Uberdata if you want the most out of your motor.

They are part of a dual-runner intake manifold. Search on this site for them. They are also called Secondary Butterflies.

I used a stock jdm P13 and removed the speed governor. Used all the H22 sensors and hooked everything up!

216whp on a JUN built head, stock bottom end and tuned!

Stock P13 jdm worked great for me!

Are p13 and p28 interchangeable if the car is wired up for a knock sensor and egr? I plugged a p28 into a h22 delsol and it smoked. After quickly unplugging it I replugged in the p13 and the car started up with no problems.
