How much Whp will a B18c1 create in an eg hatch? is it really worth it
Thinking about swaping either an H22 or a B18c1 into my 95 eg Si. What do you think. H22 is cheaper, but with all the custom work would the B18c1 be the better choice? Has anyone done either swap, and if so let me know how it went, and what you think i should pick to make my car faster than stock! [img]\\lnp01\Circulation\rlefever\My Pictures[/img]

B18c is easy, has more aftermarket support, and is easier to work on (IMO).
h22's are sexy tho.
I have a b18c and i have absolutley no regrets. Especially now that im boosted.

How much is it gonna take to get that B18C up to 170HP, let alone 140-150 ft-lbs of TQ?
The H22 will need some bolt-ons, and thats about it.
If you want to do it nice and fast and be done with it, I beyond a shadow of a doubt recommend the H22. You'll spend about the same as a B18C1 swap, and have what a well built B18C1 puts out from the beginning.

So your saying H22 is better in the long run.. what about suspension for the added weight?, brakes, gimme some list of all what needs to be updated and upgraded to run clean. What about axels, H22 i have heard are notourios for breakin axels?
