H22 Civic wiring harness
OK I am getting ready to put a JDM OBD1 H22 into a 97' Civic Hatchback DX. And I have a friend that is going to help me do it and he seems to think that you can just use the H22 engine harness which makes since to me but I have never seen anyone do it. I have only seen people modify the old civc harness. Can someone please help me and tell me if you can use the H22 Harness and if you can't can you tell me why you can not do it. I need to know this because if I can't I need to order my OBD2 to OBD 1 convo harness. Thanks

Re: H22 Civic wiring harness (Alstare)
Yes you can use your prelude harness... that's what I did. Seemed easier and cheaper to me. But that's just my opinion.

ya use the civic harness.. and modify it to fit the h22. the h22 harness will not work with all of ur internal stuff.. (lights, fans, signal.. etc..)

Thanks guys I will show him what you said and then maybe he will believe me because I have been telling him that you had to use the civic harness.
