h22 civic with p28 computer?
what programs are you guys running, when using a chipped p28 computer on your civic h22 hybrid? right now I am running the jdm p13 computer chipped, but I am going to get the skunk2 intake manifold when it comes out, and don't want to throw any codes and I also want maximum performance. Which I feel a p28 would be better then the p13.

I am using a program from AG Engineering for now. Pulls really nice after 6k all the way to 8k. There is a slight drop from 5k to 6k but its a great tradeoff and can probably be tuned out with a VAFC..

You can use a P28, but you need to use a program that's not going to "lag" from 4000-5500 rpms like all of the ones that I've tested out (Mugen, Skunk, JUN, Vision, RPT) don't have the good low end feel like a P13 provides. If there's a chip out there with the Type S program on it (like what we use on Hondata), then that would be the best IMO, as it runs smoother and pulls a little better than the Spoon P13 setup.

hehe mine lags from 5 to 6k but after that its hella wicked.. And it pulls much nicer than my p13 down low too. I hope to get a dyno plot to see how bad the drop is soon though..

I just think its the way this particular program is setup. And I wont know indefinately till I can a base dyno run. I think that maybe if I moved Vtec engagement from 4.8k where it is set to now to about 5.2k it may even it out.. Only messing around with the VAFC will I be able to tell..

I'd go with the p28 & do hondata. Eventhought my secondaries dont work...you can feel the torque pull really good in the mid range, and all the way to 8K. It was expensive for the Hondata, but totally worth it IMO.

P28 chipped is nice, I would definitely run on one, especially with Hondata. But I would probably go with a P72 being that a stock P72 runs very well on top end.
I drove around for a while on a stock P28 to pass emissions, and it ran just fine, but I was running lean as hell and had no power at all! VTEC of course still pulled.
