Default H22 Civic $8400 FOR SALE

I am interested in a 99 CX Hatch with an H22 from a 2000 Prelude. It has 59000 miles. The guy wants $8400 and it sounds like a good deal but I am wondering what to look out for when checking it out (I haven't seen it yet). Could he be hiding anything? Also, it is a USDM motor so it should pass the smog test in Ohio right?

One more thing, has anyone heard of ZMR in Tampa doing motor swaps?

Thanks for all input!!!!!!!! I want this car but don't want to get screwed either

For a swap that is already done with no problems I am willing to pay that price no problem, but I want to be careful as well. I'm thinking it is a great deal. I can do basic work on cars but not engine swaps

here is the link, what do u think?

exactly. i wouldnt buy a swapped engine unless you know the person well. it will end up being headaches otherwise when it comes time for maintenance and other issues

What kind of problems do you think I could run into that won't be evident from testing it out?
You mentioned maintenance and other issues could be headaches. I'm guessing a timing belt change would be tough but what else?
Another question, is there any reason why this couldn't be a daily driver?
Thanks for any help.
